I am a dog lover and especially of the one we have and I am always looking for places and ways to help me give her the best life she can possibly have. 

I prepare all of her food rather than trust the commercial food avaliable because in todays market you just do not know where it came from and exactly what is in it.  Sure it has ingredients on the lable but do you really know what may have accidently gotten into it.  I think the recent contamination of major brands opened a lot of pet owners eyes. 

The one main thing it taught me is: That, of the vast majority of dog and cat food was being made by one company that was placing labels on for different makers from ingredients that was made in China.  I have also found that a large portion of the treats we give our loved pets come from China and I don't care to feed my dog something that has been shipped half way around the world.  That is a long way for food of any kind to be shipped and how do you know what may have gotten into it during a two week ship ride to the US.
